John
Campbell has been helping groups learn all his professional
life having worked as a teacher, community educator, consultant,
family counsellor, corporate trainer and facilitator.
Since 1991 he has been principal consultant at Focalpoint Organisation
Development Pty Ltd where he works with management groups facilitating
the development of strategic planning and cultural change programs.
In particular he specialises in helping business units and teams
improve performance to achieve 'next level' results.
Training programs he leads focus on helping teams "think" better
together by developing skills in rational and creative problem solving
and in group communication processes.
During the last ten years John has designed and facilitated hundreds
of workshops throughout Australia and in New Zealand, Singapore,
China, Korea, Malaysia, and the United States.
He has been a featured presenter at conferences in both Australia
and the United States. (Quality Society state conference, AITD national
conference Australia; Creative Training Techniques national conference
USA). Recently he was the keynote speaker at the Malaysia Assurance
Association national sales conference in KL Malaysia.
One of the workshops he co-authored, Team Focus™, has been published
in the United States where it has been used extensively by organisations
such as John Deere, Medtronic, Beckman Instruments.
He has had articles published in Plantline journal and he writes
regularly for the international edition of the Results Newsletter.
Early consulting experiences tended to focus on team and management
development training and consisted of designing and leading workshops
at all levels of client organisations but more recent projects have
involved facilitating strategic and business planning programs with
senior management and functional management teams. .
